Front Row Fanatic, Virginia Tourism Corporation’s (VTC) brand new national promotion highlighting Virginia’s thriving music scene, is currently showcasing one of Hampton Road’s largest and most popular festivals, Hampton Bay Days! The promotion, running now through July 1, will give entrants the opportunity to win a trip for two to one of the state’s most “musical” destinations.

Jazz Jitney Returns During Hampton Jazz Festival Weekend 2008
Visitors to Hampton, Virginia for the 41st annual Hampton Jazz Festival will find an abundance of exhibitions, attractions, and events complimenting the June 27-29, 2008 annual celebration. Guests wishing to experience all of the activities offered will find it easy thanks to the Jazz Jitney, a shuttle that loops Coliseum Central, Downtown Hampton, and the Power Plant of Hampton Roads beginning Friday, June 27, and ending Sunday, June 29. The Afrikan American Festival, an art exhibition at Hampton University Museum, and a special African-American themed tour at the Hampton History Museum are just a few of the programs to be presented that weekend.

Gloucester and Langley Kennel Clubs To Host The Virginia Memorial Day Cluster All-Breed Dog Show May 23-26, 2008 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center--Event including conformation, obedience trials, rally, dog related health clinics, expected to draw over 4,000 spectators--
On May 23-26, 2008, the Hampton Roads Convention Center will welcome over 2,000 canine friends to The Virginia Memorial Day Cluster. Hosted by the Gloucester and Langley Kennel Clubs, in conjunction with the Merrimac Dog Training Club, this highly anticipated annual event is expecting to draw over 4,000 spectators within a four day period, utilizing all three of the convention center’s exhibit halls (108,000 square-feet total!).

All guest rooms and property facilities are non-smoking.

On Saturday, May 3, St. George Brewing Company will host a beer tasting fundraiser to benefit the Red Cross. The event, taking place 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., will feature samples of St. George’s award-winning brews. The “party” will also feature live musical entertainment.
