Travel Tips
During your visit, we encourage you to dig in and enjoy Hampton to the fullest! After all, there are incredible activities to experience! Just don't forget your basic safety steps while you're having fun:
- Carry identification and your key with you whenever you leave your room. Should you lose your key, you'll likely need your I.D. to get a replacement!
- Familiarize yourself with your hotel's emergency evacuation plan.
- Lost? Need help? Watch for Hampton's police department patrolling on bike, on foot and in their Hampton-blue cars, they will be happy to assist you.
|
- When visiting Fort Monroe and Langley Air Force Base, be prepared to show your driver's license and vehicle registration to the sentry at the entrance gate or pass office. Be aware that Langley only permits official visitors at this time. Photography at either site is not permitted.
- Check for time limits or decal requirements before leaving your car for any length of time.
