Experience this beautiful beachfront park with restroom facilities, parking and two picnic shelters complete with tables and grills. Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 10am until 6pm.Vendors are on-site selling food from May 15th through September 15th from 10am until 6pm.On-site parking is available free for 2 hours. All day parking is available in lots for $2.00 (Buses $5.00) from May 15th through September 15th.The beach and park are open daily from 7am to sunset.

Gosnold’s Hope Park is the second largest developed park in the city, consisting of 105 acres. It offers eight picnic facilities complete with tables and grills, campsites, restrooms, a public boat ramp, a fitness trail, athletic fields, children’s playground, and a BMX track.The park is open daily from 7am to sunset.

Long CreekBegin at the entrance of Grandview Nature Preserve and paddle to the northern tip of the preserve to a sandy island, known as Factory Point. This is a good place to rest before you paddle back.
NewmarketDepart from the floating dock at Air Power Park and continue along New Market Creek toward the Hampton Coliseum. Only by appointment.
Back RiverDepart from the dock at Gosnold's Hope Park and follow the Back River.

Langley Speedway is a .395-mile low banked (4.5 degrees) asphalt oval track featuring the best in NASCAR Weekly Racing Series and NASCAR ShorTrack Series action every Saturday night during the Spring and Summer. The track is located just across from the NASA wind tunnel. Come out and enjoy some of the best racing action around featuring the rising stars of NASCAR!

The Matteson Trail is encircles the Hampton's Golf Course. The 3-mile nature/fitness trail is named in honor of Tess Matteson, a member of the Hampton Roads Bird Club who was instrumental in the development of the trail. The trail begins and ends at the Sentara Health & Fitness Center.The trail is open from 7am to sunset and walking in pairs is encouraged.
